October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💖

Early detection is one of our most powerful tools in saving lives and protecting our communities. At the Association of Black Women Physicians, we encourage you to prioritize your health, know your body, and schedule your regular screenings.

YOUR PLAN OF ACTION:

1️⃣ Know Your Body: Perform regular monthly self-exams.

2️⃣ Schedule Your Mammogram: Consult your physician about when to begin screenings.

3️⃣ Spread Awareness: Remind your mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends to get checked.

Together, we honor those we’ve lost, support those in the fight, and empower our community to prevail.

👉 GET SCREENED. BE EMPOWERED.
