Celebrating Excellence & Unity: Honoring Our 2026–2028 Executive Board

As we move into National Physicians Week (March 25–31), we are filled with immense pride and gratitude. Today, we want to officially congratulate and introduce the ABWP 2026–2028 Executive Board!

In a field where Black women represent approximately 2.8% of all physicians, these leaders aren't just beating the odds—they are redefining them. While they spend their days in the office and caring for patients providing world-class care, their dedication to the Association of Black Women Physicians goes far beyond their clinical practice.

Their tireless volunteer work, advocacy, and leadership are the true lifeblood of ABWP. They embody this year’s National Physicians Week theme, "Unity in Healthcare," by fostering collaboration and championing the well-being of those who care for others.

To our new board: Thank you for your brilliance, your sacrifice, and your heart. We celebrate you today and every day!

National Physicians Week Highlights:  March 25–31: A week dedicated to physician leadership and well-being.  March 30: National Doctor’s Day.

Let’s keep the appreciation going! Tag a physician you’d like to honor this National Physicians Week in the comments below!
