Scholarship Criteria:

The Association of Black Women Physicians (ABWP) provides Rebecca Lee Crumpler, MD Scholarships to female medical students who are permanent residents of California or enrolled in California medical schools. The awards are based on financial need and academic merit.

Scholarship Mission

To financially support the California female medical students and for the improvement of public health and welfare through the advancement of knowledge concerning women and community health.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be female medical students who are permanent residents of California at any medical school, or students at a California medical school, who are in good academic standing.

How Winners are Selected

Selection is based on financial need and academic merit.
