On May 6th, 2021 Mocha Medicine and The Association of Black Women Physicians wrote a letter to Dennis Murphy, CEO of Indiana Health North to discuss Dr. Susan Moore and Dr. Chaniece Wallace. Both Black women doctors tragically died while hospitalized at Indiana hospitals. Their education and expertise in medicine failed to protect them from the ultimate harm.
