Tougaloo College is proudly honoring our beloved Dr. Jessie L. Sherrod, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, Founding President of the Association of Black Women Physicians, with a special Naming and Dedication Ceremony!

A trailblazer who shattered barriers, Dr. Sherrod’s legacy will now be forever enshrined at her alma mater with the Jessie L. Sherrod, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP Auditorium and the Aurelia Jones-Taylor, M.B.A., Jesolyn Larry Howell, Ph.D., Jessie L. Sherrod, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP Art Suite.
