Calling All Doctors and Student Members! We are Seeking Volunteers for the Upcoming KJLH Women's Health Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center on Saturday, May 31st?

We’re excited to share that the Association of Black Women Physicians (ABWP) will be participating in the upcoming KJLH Women’s Health Expo on Saturday, May 31, 2025, and we’re reaching out to invite you to consider volunteering with us!

This is a great opportunity to engage with the community, support ABWP’s mission, and help us make a strong impact at this popular health and wellness event. We are looking for volunteers for the day of the event and to assist with setup the day before the event.

Volunteer Shifts Available:

Day-Before Set-up, Friday, May 30th, 2025 | 2PM - 7PM

Saturday, May 31st, Shifts Below:

• 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Close)

Volunteer Attire:

Please wear an ABWP logo t-shirt (available through our Merch Store - could take up to 2 weeks for production and shipping, so please order by 5/16/25) or Black Doctors Matter t-shirt, paired with a white coat or hospital jacket. If you don't have one, please email membership@blackwomenphysicians.org. Let us know you are a KJLH volunteer and your requested size.
